Rusnano implementing projects with Gazprom Neft on engine service, medium-, small-tonnage chemicals
MOSCOW. Oct 30 (Interfax) - Rusnano is implementing projects in partnership with Gazprom Neft on power engine service as well as small-tonnage chemicals, the head of Rusnano, Sergei Kulikov, said during a meeting with President Vladimir Putin.
One of the directions Rusnano has focused on is primarily small-tonnage and medium-tonnage chemicals, he said.
"We were appointed as the technology operator together with Gazprom Neft. Today we have concentrated on five technological chains, on five chemical products. This is more than a hundred products that we will produce at five plants. We have chosen a site in the Urals. I hope that we will acquire it all there now. And we expect that the portfolio of these projects will be 200 billion rubles," Kulikov said.
The second major direction with Gazprom Neft is power machine building and energy service.
"We ended up there because we had mastered spraying technologies, component manufacturing technologies. We repurposed one of our nano-centers in Ulyanovsk. We will start with the service and repair of GPU and GTE [gas piston units and gas turbine engines], and then move on to re-engineering, possibly creating our own products. Here, our investments are already 25 billion rubles in the development of these production facilities," he said.
"And we have also outlined a move towards energy services. This is already a more tokenized business, where digital assets can be used. Here we expect to attract around 175 billion rubles in extra-budgetary exchange funds," he said.
In addition, the company's materials indicate that Rusnano develops, manufactures and sells robots for autonomous operations in warehouses, and is developing a smart AI-based system for managing a swarm of robots. Ronavi mobile logistics robots work in the warehouses of Faberlic, the company Sostra, Gazpromneft - Snabzhenie in Novy Urengoi, and others.
The company has created TUBOT, a robotic complex for pipeline diagnostics for the oil and gas industry, nuclear industry, utilities and other areas. The project is used for transporting diagnostic in-pipe equipment that assesses the technical condition of pipelines and prevents accidents. A robot for the company Transneft is among the projects. The robot for in-pipe diagnostics is included in the list of recommended scientific and technical solutions of the National Technology Transfer Association.
The holding is a developer and manufacturer of thermoelectric generators based on the Seebeck effect - the conversion of thermal energy into electrical energy. In 2024, the company launched serial production of new highly efficient generator modules for power supply to remote areas. The first high-efficiency generator modules were shipped to the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) as part of autonomous thermoelectric power sources. They ensure the operation of critical infrastructure of main gas pipelines. Forty thermoelectric generators were installed at Alrosa Group's gas pipeline branch to the production site of the Nakynskoye ore field.
The company is a leader in the domestic market of protective gas-thermal coatings for the oil and gas industry and energy sector, it said. It uses ten methods of gas-thermal spraying and more than 1,500 types of coatings. Among its clients are PJSC Rosneft , JSC Power Machines, PJSC Gazprom and others.
