Trump satisfied with talks with Xi, says they come to conclusion on many issues

HONG KONG. Oct 30 (Interfax) - U.S. President Donald Trump has said he reached an understanding on many issues at the recent talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Many decisions have been made, "we have come to a conclusion on many important points," Trump told U.S. reporters onboard Air Force One.

He said, for instance, that they reached an understanding on the trade deal.

"We have a deal. Now every year we'll renegotiate the deal," he said, adding he expected the deal to stay in effect for long.

This is a yearlong deal to be extended a year from now, he said.

It is also planned to exchange visits, Trump said.

He said he would visit China in April and Xi would visit the United States after that.

"It was an amazing meeting. He is a great leader" of a very powerful country, Trump said.

He said he appreciated meeting with Xi.

Trump and Xi met in South Korea's Busan. The meeting lasted one hour and forty minutes.
