Netherlands to allocate 5 mln euros for gas imports from 25 mln euros support for Ukraine's energy system - Dutch Foreign Minister

MOSCOW. Oct 29 (Interfax) - Of the 25 million euros allocated by the Netherlands to support Ukraine's energy system, 10 million euros will be allocated to the Energy Fund of Ukraine, another 10 million euros to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and 5 million euros for gas imports, according to Dutch Foreign Minister David van Wiel.

Ten million euros of this will go to the Energy Fund of Ukraine, 10 million euros to the EBRD. Regarding gas imports to Ukraine, 5 million euros will be allocated for direct support, namely that gas compressors and other materials that can be supplied as quickly as possible, Ukrainian media reported van Wiel saying at a meeting with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky on Tuesday.

As reported, van Wiel, who arrived in Kiev on Tuesday, announced the allocation of 25 million euros to support Ukraine's energy system.
