Russian FM meets with Slovak presidential advisor
MOSCOW. Oct 28 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Slovak presidential advisor for foreign affairs Jan Kubis have noted the importance of maintaining contacts and developing interaction in the economic, cultural and humanitarian sectors during a meeting in Minsk, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
"During the conversation, the parties noted the importance of maintaining bilateral contacts and developing interaction in the economic, cultural and humanitarian sectors and an inter-parliamentary dialogue," the ministry said in a statement published on its website following the meeting on the sidelines of the Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security.
The parties also "exchanged views on items of mutual interest on the international agenda," the statement said.
