Western sanctions being analyzed, Russia to respond in line with its interests - Peskov

MOSCOW. Oct 24 (Interfax) - Moscow is analyzing the situation following the adoption of new anti-Russian sanctions, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

"The sanctions that are known, which have been announced, are being analyzed. We will certainly act in a way that meets our interests best of all. This is the main thing. We act, first and foremost, not against anyone, we act for our own benefit," Peskov said when asked by reporters on Friday how Moscow is going to retaliate against the new sanctions imposed on it.
