Russia boosts confectionery exports to Kazakhstan 14% to $360 mln in 8M - Agroexport

ASTANA. Oct 24 (Interfax) - Russia increased confectionery exports to Kazakhstan 14% year-on-year to over $360 million in the first eight months of 2025, CEO of the Agroexport federal center Ilya Ilyushin told journalists during an organized business trip for exporters in Kazakhstan.

He said that confectionery was the main product exported by Russia to Kazakhstan this year, with around 113,000 tonnes delivered in 8M, followed by beverages.

Around $163 million of export revenue came from flour-based baked goods, over $156 million from chocolate and around $42 million from sugary confectionery.

Russian exporters will finish their business trip in Kazakhstan on Friday. As well as officials and industry union representatives, participants included over 40 Russian agricultural producers and 50 Kazakh companies.
