Wildberries-Russ buys tour operator Fun&Sun from Severgroup - paper

MOSCOW. Oct 22 (Interfax) - The merged company Wildberries&Russ (RWB LLC) has acquired tour operator Fun&Sun, formerly known as TUI Russia, from billionaire Alexei Mordashov's Severgroup, Izvestia reported, citing sources close to the parties in the negotiations.

The deal was worth "several hundred million dollars," one source said, while another said the company was sold for at least 15 billion-16 billion rubles.

Severgroup and Fun&Sun refrained from commenting on this report. Wildberries&Russ also did not comment on the report about the deal, and only noted that the companies recently began a strategic partnership.

In September 2025, Wildberries&Russ and Fun&Sun agreed on a partnership to develop tourism services for the online platform's users. The first product under the partnership was an early booking service for Fun&Sun tours for the 2025/2026 winter season on the Wildberries marketplace.

Wildberries has been developing a tourism business since 2023. Initially the service allowed users to buy plane, train and bus tickets, as well as plan routes with combined modes of transport. Later it began offering hotel and tour bookings.
