WASHINGTON. Oct 21 (Interfax) - There is currently no need for an in-person meeting between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the CBS News television channel said with a reference to a source at the White House on Tuesday.
"The official told CBS News that Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had a 'productive call', and a future in-person meeting between Rubio and Lavrov is 'not necessary,'" the TV channel said.
In addition, the source said that there also are no plans for a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump in "the immediate future" yet.
