Putin permits Sinopec's Hong Kong subsidiary to buy SIBUR shares from its Cypriot subsidiary
MOSCOW. Oct 17 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has issued a decree authorizing Soihl Hong Kong Holding Limited to purchase 217,847,910 (8.5%) shares in SIBUR from Soihl Cyprus Investment Limited, a subsidiary of Sinopec, according to a published document.
Sinopec owns 8.5% of SIBUR petrochemical holding's shares.
