Kazakhstan imposes moratorium on price increases for AI-92 gasoline, diesel
ASTANA. Oct 16 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan has introduced a moratorium on further price increases for AI-92 petrol and diesel fuel starting October 16, the government press service said.
The decision was made at a meeting on Thursday with the participation of government members, heads of other state bodies and organizations on the implementation of the head of state's instructions to streamline the implementation of the economic reform program in the interests of citizens.
The moratorium will remain in effect "until the inflation rate stabilizes."
