Kazakhstan's GDP grows 6.3% in 9M

ASTANA. Oct 14 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan's GDP grew 6.3% in January-September 2025, Deputy National Economy Minister Azamat Amrin said at a government meeting on Tuesday.

This is a slight slowdown compared to the 6.5% growth recorded in January-August of this year, he said.

"Growth in the real sector was 8.1%, while the services sector grew by 5.3%. Among the industries, the highest growth is demonstrated by transportation, construction and mining. Trade increased by 8.8%, manufacturing by 6.2% and agriculture by 4.4%," Amrin said.

Capital investment rose 13.5% to 13.8 trillion tenge, including 7.8% growth for private investment.

GDP grew 4.8% in 2024. The National Bank is expecting 5.5%-6.5% growth in 2025.
