Azerbaijan, Kuwait discuss potential joint projects in oil refining

BAKU. Oct 10 (Interfax) - Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov discussed the implementation of joint projects in oil refining with the chairman of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, Oil Minister Tareq Suleiman Al-Roumi during a working visit to the Persian Gulf country on Thursday.

They discussed "implementation of oil refining projects, trade in oil and gas products, and opportunities for cooperation across both traditional and renewable energy sectors," Jabbarov said on social media.

He also said they "shared perspectives on Azerbaijan's active role in regional and global energy initiatives, as well as the effective management of natural resources in the transition toward a sustainable economy."
