Industry, finance, transport ministry officials, Rostec exec elected to new GTLK board

SALEKHARD. Oct 9 (Interfax) - A new board of directors has been appointed at State Transport Leasing Company (GTLK) after the term of the previous board was terminated ahead of schedule, the Russian company reported.

The new board has 11 members. It includes Rostec executive director Oleg Yevtushenko; First Deputy Transport Minister Valentin Ivanov; Deputy Industry and Trade Minister Albert Karimov; the head of the state sector financial management faculty at the Higher School of Economics, Alexei Lavrov; Moscow Deputy Mayor Maxim Liskutov; Transport Minister Andrei Nikitin; First Deputy Finance Minister Irina Okladnikova.

The board also includes GTLK CEO Mikhail Parnev; Deputy Transport Minister Vladimir Poteshkin; Deputy Industry and Trade Minister Vasily Shpak; and, serving as independent director, the Russian president's special envoy for digital and technological development, Dmitry Peskov.

There is no public information about the previous composition of GTLK's board. It was reported earlier that in the winter of 2024 the Russian government also nominated 11 candidates for the company's board and they included Liksutov, Okladnikova and Peskov.

GTLK leases machinery and equipment for aviation and other transport companies, as well as businesses in other sectors. GTLK's shareholders are Russia's Transport Ministry and Finance Ministry, the company said in its IFRS report for the first half of 2025.
