Softline acquires 51% of IT consulting company BeringPro

MOSCOW. Oct 1 (Interfax) - PJSC Softline is acquiring 51% of BeringPro, a company engaged in management and IT consulting, the holding said in a statement.

The transaction amount was not specified. According to the Softline statement, the majority of the cash as part of the transaction will be invested in the further development of BeringPro's business.

The transaction to acquire a majority stake in the company will allow Softline to expand its competencies in the IT consulting industry, expand its functionality and capabilities, and increase revenue by maximizing the synergistic effect from cross-selling.

The acquired company will continue to operate under its own brand and will retain its management.

Previously, BeringPro was part of the international KPMG consulting network. In Russia, the company operated from 2002 under the BearingPoint brand. The rebranding to BeringPro took place in 2024.

The company's revenue grew more than 20% last year to 1.96 billion rubles.
