Gasoline export ban for all companies extended until end of year, export ban for diesel fuel and gasoil imposed for non-producers

MOSCOW. Sept 30 (Interfax) - The Russian government is continuing its efforts to maintain stability on the domestic fuel market and has thus extended the temporary gasoline export ban, as well as imposing new restrictions for other types of fuel.

The Cabinet of Ministers said in a statement that a new decree would extend the temporary ban on exporting motor gasoline until December 31, 2025 inclusive for all exporters, including those who directly produce the fuel. Producers were previously banned from exporting gasoline until the end of September, while the ban was effective until the end of October for non-producers.

"Another decree will prohibit exports of diesel, as well as marine fuel and other gas oils, including those acquired on the exchange. The restrictions will be effective from the day following the official publication of the decree until December 31, 2025 inclusive. However, the ban will not extend to exports of the aforementioned fuel categories by companies which produce them directly," the government wrote.
