IAEA general director to hold consultations in Kiev on Mon - Rosatom head
MOSCOW. Sept 26 (Interfax) - Rafael Grossi, general director of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), will meet with representatives of the Ukrainian administration in Kiev on September 29, Alexei Likhachev, the head of the state corporation Rosatom, said.
"I know that consultations between IAEA head Rafael Grossi and top Ukrainian government officials are scheduled for Monday," Likhachev told reporters at the World Atomic Week forum on Friday.
The IAEA general director earlier met with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Grossi said the main issues addressed had included a discussion on the situation in Iran, in the Middle East and in Ukraine.
Grossi said later that day he was going to discuss the situation at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Plant during his visits to Russia and Ukraine.
