Preiss-Daimler exits joint fiberglass enterprise with Tatneft in Alabuga
MOSCOW. Sept 19 (Interfax) - P-D Glasseiden GmbH Oschatz, part of Preiss-Daimler Group, has withdrawn from P-D Tatneft-Alabuga Fiberglass, a joint enterprise producing fiberglass with Tatneft in the Alabuga special economic zone,.
According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (USRLE), the company's founders as of September 11 are Tatneft-Aktiv LLC, with a 75% stake, and Tatneft-Presscomposite LLC with 25%.
P-D Glasseiden GmbH Oschatz became involved in the project in 2007 and held 50% of the charter capital. In 2012, Tatneft bought a 25% share from the German company, which owned 25% until September 11, 2025.
P-D Tatneft-Alabuga Fiberglass produces fiberglass and fiberglass-based products - rovings and fiberglass mat, mesh and cloth. Production began in 2010 with an annual capacity of 21,000 tonnes. The company announced in 2019 that it would modernize the facility, increasing capacity to 31,800 tonnes per year. As of 2016, 4.8 billion rubles has been invested in the production facility.
In July 2025, P-D Tatneft-Alabuga Fiberglass was added to the EU sanctions list against Russia.
