UK adds 3 persons, 27 companies, including those from China, India, Thailand, Turkey, to Russia sanctions list
LONDON. Sept 12 (Interfax) -The United Kingdom has added three persons and 27 companies to the list of sanctions against Russia, the British Treasury said in a press release on Friday.
The restrictions will apply to the Anozit federal state enterprise, Proton, the Bryansk Chemical Plant, the Sinvent Research Institute of Chemical Systems, the Ikar Design Bureau, Elekond, and NPO Poisk.
Plant Mezon, Redkinsky Experimental Plant, Zvukotekhnika Research and Production Enterprise, Ruspolymet, the Russian Institute of High-Power Radio Engineering, the Sarapul Radio Plant, Soliton, Tekhnodinamika, Plant Rekond, and the Mytishchi Instrument-Making Plant were also added to the list.
The British government also listed companies Bin Yin and Xin Yu registered in Moscow, three companies from Hong Kong, China (Jin Tang Tchnology Limited, Scorpion's Holding Group Limited, Shenzhen Blue Hat International Trade Co.), one company from India (Hayers Infotech Private Limited), three companies from Thailand (Phaeton Group Co., Soguzo Co., and Tecgr Co.), and one company from Turkey (Mastel Makina Ithalat Ihracat Limited Sirketi).
The sanctions will apply to two Russian citizens and one citizen of Azerbaijan.
The sanctions include immobilization of assets of the persons and entities and the ban on doing business with them, including the provision of asset management services except in cases authorized by the Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation. The Office also needs to be notified about assets of sanctioned persons and companies.
