Vimpelcom VP for M&A Nasretdinov leaving company

MOSCOW. Sept 10 (Interfax) - PJSC Vimpelcom's vice president for corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, Renat Nasretdinov is leaving the Russian mobile provider, the company told Interfax.

The company did not specify the reason for Nasretdinov's departure or name his successor.

Nasretdinov was appointed VP for M&A as of June 1, 2021, prior to which he had served in various roles at the company since 2008, from M&A analyst to director of corporate development.

"In his 17 years at Beeline [Vimpelcom's brand], Renat became a participant in all the most important deals and strategic initiatives, including the division of the assets of Euroset, the formation and subsequent sale of tower infrastructure, as well as the exit from Veon Group. The company's first venture capital business, which opened new horizons for innovation and investment, was created under his leadership," Vimpelcom CEO Sergei Anokhin said in a statement through the company's press service.
