Irina Ilyina appointed head of Central Bank of Russia's Financial Technology Department, replacing Stanislav Korop

MOSCOW. Sept 8 (Interfax) - The Central Bank of Russia has replaced the acting director of its Financial Technology Department, with Irina Ilyina taking up this position in place of Stanislav Korop, according to information on the regulator's website.

Ilyina was previously the deputy director of this department.

Korop worked in commercial organizations until 2015, including at Ernst & Young (CIS) Limited. Since 2015, he has held managerial positions at the CBR. In 2023, he was appointed acting director of the Financial Technology Department after the former head of the department, Kirill Pronin, moved to another position at the Central Bank.
