Company that owns Russian branch of Burger King redomiciles to Russia

MOSCOW. Sept 8 (Interfax) - The Cypriot-based Burger King Russia has been redomiciled to Russia and will continue to operate as BKR ICLLC.

According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, the ICLLC was registered on September 1 in Kaliningrad's special administrative region. Information about the owners has not been disclosed. The company's CEO is Sergei Kozlov, who heads Burger Rus LLC, the master franchisee of Burger King in Russia. The international chain did not have its own restaurants in Russia.

The ICL owns 99.84% of the capital of Burger Rus.

In 2022, Burger King suspended support for the restaurant chain in Russia at the level of operations, marketing and the supply chain, and also stopped approving decisions on investments and expansion in Russia.

The revenue of the Russian LLC Burger Rus to Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) stood at 90.26 billion rubles in 2024, up 21.2%. Gross profit grew 14.3% to 17.29 billion rubles, while net profit fell 8.1% to 1.63 billion rubles.
