Arctic LNG 2 ships first batch of LNG to China - Novatek deputy board chairman

VLADIVOSTOK. Sept 4 (Interfax) - Arctic LNG 2 has shipped its first batch of liquefied natural gas (LNG), and the batch was received by China, Novatek Deputy Board Chairman Yevgeny Ambrosov told journalists.

Novatek is the main shareholder of Arctic LNG 2.

Ambrosov confirmed that LNG shipments from the project have begun. "They have begun. The first vessel has arrived in China," he said.
