Armenia to decide on its EAEU membership after analyzing situation, holding talks - PM

YEREVAN. Aug 28 (Interfax) - Simultaneous membership in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the European Union is impossible, so Yerevan will make "a respective decision" when the time comes, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said.

"We understand that simultaneous membership in the EU and the EAEU is impossible. When the time comes and the choice is inevitable, we will make a respective decision," Pashinyan said at a press briefing on Thursday.

Any scenario is possible, he said.

"Everything depends on the will of our people, an analysis of the situation, prospects and results of the negotiations," Pashinyan said.
