Russia could receive around 90 bln rubles of budget revenue from privatization in 2025 - federal property agency head
MOSCOW. Aug 27 (Interfax) - The Russian Federal Property Agency (Rosimuschestvo) plans to generate approximately 90 billion rubles in revenue from privatization deals in 2025, agency head Vadim Yadovenko said during a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
He said that Rosimuschestvo was planning to add 475 billion rubles to the treasury this year, including 417 billion rubles of dividends.
"And, of course, we are working towards selling state-owned assets. This has already earned us 133 billion rubles. We are also receiving part of the sums from dividends in our state companies. One of the major deals this year was the sale of state shares in the Bashkir Soda Company for 17 billion rubles. As such, we plan to have earned around 90 billion rubles from privatization deals by the end of this year," Yakovenko said.
As reported, Rosimuschestvo transferred 473 billion rubles to the federal budget in 2024, of which dividend payments from state-affiliated companies amounted to 307 billion rubles. Privatization of treasury property and corporate assets brought 132 billion rubles to the budget system in 2024, compared to the plan of 6 billion rubles.
