Putin-Zelensky meeting to take place when its agenda ready - Lavrov

WASHINGTON. Aug 22 (Interfax) - A meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is not planned as of now, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Friday.

"There is no meeting planned," Lavrov said on NBC News.

"Putin is ready to meet with Zelensky when the agenda is ready for a summit, and this agenda is not ready at all," he said.

U.S. President Donald Trump said earlier he was planning to arrange a meeting of the Russian and Ukrainian presidents.
