Kazakhstan's freight traffic grows 12.1% in 7M 2025

ALMATY. Aug 18 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan's freight turnover reached 324.5 billion tonne-kilometers in January-July 2025, up 12.1% compared to the same period last year, the Bureau of National Statistics said.

Pipeline transport rose 17.5%, road transport was up 32.7% and rail freight turnover rose 7.4%.

Passenger traffic grew 10.7% to 51.5 billion passenger-kilometers during the reporting period.
