Trump describes meeting with Putin as 'very productive', admits there's no deal yet

ANCHORAGE, U.S. Aug 16 (Interfax) - U.S. President Donald Trump has described his negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Anchorage as productive, although admitting that the parties have yet to work on a number of issues.

"I believe we had a very productive meeting. There were many, many points that we agreed on," Trump said following the negotiations.

"Most of them, I would say a couple of big ones, that we haven't quite got there but we've made some headway," Trump said.

"There's no deal until there's a deal," he said.
