Agricultural output in Belarus falls 12.7% in 7M due to late harvest
MINSK. Aug 15 (Interfax) - Output by farms of all categories in Belarus fell 12.7% year-on-year at constant prices in January-July 2025 to 16.1 billion Belarusian rubles, national statistical committee Belstat said.
Agricultural output fell 2.7% year-on-year in H1 2025, 1% in January-May, 1.5% in January-April and 1.7% in Q1, 1.2% in January-February and 3.3% in January.
Agricultural organizations reduced output 11.4% year-on-year in 7M 2025 to 15.6 billion rubles.
"The drop in output is due to the later start to the harvest and fodder conservation this year," Belstat said.

Farms of all categories produced 1.05 million of cattle and poultry in live weight, 5.4 million tonnes of milk and 2.3 billion eggs.
Agricultural organizations produced 97.7% of the cattle and poultry, 98% of the milk and 86.8% of the eggs.
Agricultural organizations had 4 million cattle, including 1.4 million cows, and 2 million pigs as of August 1.
