Armenia, U.S. to cooperate in AI, semiconductors, energy security
YEREVAN. Aug 11 (Interfax) - The Armenian and U.S. governments signed three documents on the sidelines of a meeting of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and U.S. President Donald Trump in Washington on Friday.
"Seeking to deepen strategic cooperation in three key areas, the governments of Armenia and the United States signed three memoranda of mutual understanding," the Armenian prime minister's press secretary Nazeli Baghdasaryan said on a social network.
These include the memorandum of cooperation in developing the potential of the Crossroads of Peace project [that envisages the unblocking of regional communications], the memorandum of innovative partnership in the field of artificial intelligence and semiconductors, and a memorandum of partnership in energy security, she said.
