Russia boosts agricultural exports to Laos eightfold in 7M, surpassing 400 tonnes - Agroexport
MOSCOW. Aug 6 (Interfax) - Russia exported over 400 tonnes of agricultural products to Laos in 7M 2025, up eightfold compared to the same period last year, the Agroexport federal center said, citing expert estimates.
Export revenue grew ninefold to nearly $1.2 million.
The main driver of export growth was canned fish. In January-July, exports of this product exceeded 300 tonnes, worth approximately $900,000. Exports amounted to more than 180 tonnes worth $500,000 in 4M, the center said.
This year, for the first time in the history of their trade relations, Russia supplied gin and other alcoholic beverages to Laos.
