Ozon's fintech division registers asset management company
MOSCOW. July 31 (Interfax) - The fintech division of Ozon has registered Ozon Asset Management LLC, and Unified State Registry of Legal Entities (USRLE) data indicate that the LLC was established on July 30, with Ozon Capital, which unites most of the group's financial services and belongs to Ozon Holding LLC, as the sole owner.
The management company's authorized charter capital totals 20 million rubles, and the company's main activity is fund management.
Ozon's press service told Interfax that the group has expanded the range of financial services for clients significantly over the past year and a half. The services are united under the Ozon Capital fintech holding.
"It [the fintech vertical] includes the legal entities of our bank, microcredit company, and leasing company. We continue to study promising areas and register new companies in order to implement projects faster if they are interesting for us to develop," Ozon said without disclosing details about the future prospects of the new legal entity.
Ozon Capital LLC unites the Ozon Bank, Ozon Credit MCC, Ozon Leasing, Ozon Invest and Ozon Financial Solutions, and Ozon Financial Technologies fintech assets.
Ozon Capital boosted net profit 2.9-fold to 16.2 billion rubles in 2024. The number of active clients increased 1.6-fold to 30.3 million. The amount of client funds in current accounts, deposits, and savings accounts totaled 193.5 billion rubles.
