Ozon Bank to roll out network of 350 ATMs in Russia by year's end
MOSCOW. July 30 (Interfax) - Ozon Bank, a division of Russian online marketplace Ozon, plans to roll out its own network of 350 bank machines in various regions of the country by the end of 2025, the bank said in a press release.
The bank has already installed 12 ATMs in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg. Ozon Bank initially announced plans to roll out its own ATM network in 2025 at the end of 2024.
The ATMs will be located at Ozon order pick-up points and third-party locations, such as shopping centers and stores. Customers will be able to use them to withdraw and deposit cash on all debit and credit cards of the Mir, Visa and Mastercard payment systems issued by Russian banks. In future, the bank will add new features and products to the machines.
"By the end of the year we will expand the network, and study demand and the convenience of locations, after which we will make a decision on further scaling," Ozon Fintech head Vahe Ovasapyan was quoted as saying in the press release.
Ozon Bank, which operates under a universal license from the Central Bank, has more than 31.7 million active customers. It was Russia's 35th largest bank by assets at the end of the first quarter of 2025, according to the Interfax-100 ranking.
Ozon Bank told Interfax in early July that it had begun testing an offline format, opening four points of sale at Ozon pick-up points in Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Perm and St. Petersburg.
Ozon e-commerce rivals Wildberries and Yandex also have subsidiary banks, but they do not currently have their own bank machines and branches.
