MOSCOW. July 29 (Interfax) - Projects in the Russian electricity industry whose deadlines have been postponed to a later date have an overall capacity of 7.34 GW, Dmitry Vologzhanin, head of generating companies association Energy Producers Council, told journalists.

"The Energy Producers Council is working actively with Russian manufacturers of generation equipment. Every quarter, we make reports on delivery delays, equipment and other specifications," he said.

The government has approved modernization projects at power stations several times this year due to delays in equipment deliveries.

Inter RAO , Unipro , El5-Energo, Siberian Generating Company and OGK-2 have postponed projects, while the projects of T Plus have been taken off the list altogether.
