Moscow, Pyongyang to continue 'powerfully intensifying' development of bilateral relations - North Korean Foreign Minister
PYONGYANG. July 28 (Interfax) - Russia and North Korea have achieved success in the areas of political, defense, economic, cultural and sports cooperation, and intend to continue to intensify the comprehensive development of bilateral relations, North Korean Foreign Economic Affairs Minister Yun Jong-ho, co-chairman of the intergovernmental commission on trade, economic and scientific-technical cooperation between Russia and North Korea, said.
"As we can clearly see, obvious and proud results of our cooperation are being born every day in various areas of politics, defense, culture, and sports. Much success has also been achieved in the area of economic cooperation," Yun Jong-ho said during a meeting with Natural Resources and Environment Minister Alexander Kozlov, who is Russia's co-chairman of the intergovernmental commission.
Yun Jong-ho said that Moscow and Pyongyang would continue "powerfully intensifying the comprehensive development of bilateral relations."
"I am confident that our current meeting will serve as a very effective moment for achieving practical results, because we will be able today to analyze and evaluate the current state of each project and discuss the future direction of cooperation," Yun Jong-ho said.
