Russia boosts flour-based confectionery exports 9% in H1 to $312 mln - Agroexport

MOSCOW. July 28 (Interfax) - Russia exported flour-based confectionery products worth $312 million in H1 2025, up 9% compared to the same period last year, the Agroexport federal center said, citing expert estimates.

In physical terms, exports amounted to approximately 132,000 tonnes, but growth figures were not provided.

The largest contributors to export revenue growth were sweet dry biscuits, waffles, crackers, croutons and other roasted products. The main buyers were Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.

In addition, over the six-month period, Russia exported flour-based confectionery products to Montenegro worth more than $160,000, up 6.4-fold compared to the entire figure for 2024 of $25,000. Russian flour-based confectionery was supplied to Albania and Tunisia for the first time since 2023.
