Russia's gasoline, diesel reserves near record high - Energy Ministry
MOSCOW. July 17 (Interfax) - Gasoline and diesel fuel reserves in Russia are near an all-time high and the industry is completely ready for the seasonal increase in demand for oil products, the Energy Ministry said.
"The domestic market is fully supplied with all the main types of motor fuel. Gasoline and diesel fuel reserves are at a level that is close to historic maximums, which ensures uninterrupted supplies to the domestic market. The observed price dynamic is due to seasonal factors, including growth of demand," the ministry said in a press release.
"The Energy Ministry of Russia is constantly monitoring the situation on the fuel market. In the retail segment there is stable coverage of demand, delivery volumes correspond to regions' needs. The industry is completely ready for the seasonal increase in demand," the ministry said.
