Long-time Sveza Group CEO Frishman resigns

ST. PETERSBURG. July 16 (Interfax) - Anatoly Frishman, CEO of Sveza Group, one of Russia's largest forestry holdings, has resigned, the group's press service said.

Frishman had been the group's CEO since December 2016. His new place of work has not been specified.

Svyatoslav Sarson has been appointed acting CEO of Sveza. Sarson has been working for the company since 2013, and has risen from branch director to CEO of the board division.

"The company's shareholders are confident that despite the personnel changes, Sveza will continue to implement the planned strategy aimed at improving efficiency and progressive development of the group," the press service said.

The group includes seven plywood mills, one cardboard and paper mill and three cardboard packaging and specialized paper production facilities in the Tyumen, St. Petersburg, Leningrad, Pskov, Kostroma, Vologda and Sverdlovsk regions, and in the Perm Territory; as well as a number of other structures, including companies that procure raw materials (Sveza Resource), produce bio-products (Sveza Bioproduct), and develop and implement technologies based on artificial intelligence (Sveza Smartline).
