Uzbekistan's Navoi Mining ups gold output 1% to 1.54 Moz in H1
TASHKENT. July 10 (Interfax) - Uzbekistan's Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company (NMMC) raised gold production 1% in H1 2025 to 1.538 Moz, the company said.
Output in value was 60.8 trillion sum or $4.7 billion.
Capex came to $219.5 million.
The investment projects include expanding the No.7 hydrometallurgical plant, and phase three development of the Kokpatas and Daugistau deposits.
The wholly state-owned NMMC is Central Asia's biggest and the world's fourth biggest gold miner. Its operating mines include Muruntau-Myuntenbay in the Central Kyzyl Kum, the world's biggest gold deposit with a resource potential of more than 100 Moz.
