PhosAgro appoints company's top manager Alexander Gilgenberg as CEO
MOSCOW. July 9 (Interfax) - The board of directors of PhosAgro has appointed Alexander Gilgenberg as the company's Chief Executive Officer.
Mikhail Rybnikov left the position due to a change of employment, the company said.
Prior to his appointment, Gilgenberg headed JSC Apatit, which manages PhosAgro's production and logistics assets. He has been working at the group's enterprises since 1999.
"Under Alexander Gilgenberg's leadership, the development of the corporate strategy until 2030 is currently being finalized, which will set new ambitious goals for the company. I am confident that Alexander Alexandrovich [Gilgenberg], who has spent his entire career with the company starting as a junior specialist and steadily rising through all levels of the corporate ladder, will help PhosAgro successfully meet these challenges as CEO," PhosAgro Board Chairman Viktor Cherepov was quoted as saying.
Rybnikov became head of PhosAgro in March 2022, replacing Andrei Guryev after the latter was included in the EU sanctions list.
