Level of technological independence of oil and gas engineering to increase to 80% in 2025 - Russia's Industry and Trade Ministry

MOSCOW. July 7 (Interfax) - The level of technological independence of the oil and gas engineering industry to increase to 80% by the end of 2025 from 70% in 2024. According to plans, thanks to the organization of production of competitive import-substituting industrial products, this figure should increase to 90% by 2030, according to the materials of the Industry and Trade Ministry for the final board meeting of the department.

An increase of 33.8% in production volume in 2024 up to 508.4 billion rubles is noted among the indicators of the development of the oil and gas engineering industry. At the same time, investments in fixed assets rose 3.1% to 5.34 billion rubles, and the number of employees increased 0.5% to 76,760 people.

It is also specified that two new oil and gas equipment production facilities are planned to be launched in 2025, namely commissioning of a bench complex for testing cryogenic compressor units in Zelenodolsk, Tatarstan, and the opening of a new production line of JSC KZPM, Krasnodar Krai, GC Betonit). In 2024, 5 projects were launched, all in the R&D category.
