Neis Group to invest 850 mln rubles in building machinery plant in Rostov region
YEKATERINBURG. July 7 (Interfax) - Neis-Engineering LLC plans to build a plant for agricultural machinery and lifting equipment in the Rostov region, the region's deputy governor Igor Sorokin told Interfax.
"The enterprise intends to establish production of a wide range of products, including air and oil automotive filters, lifting, mounted and trailed equipment, as well as special-purpose vehicles using domestic components. Production will be 50% localized at the plant," Sorokin said.
An agreement on the project's implementation was signed during the Innoprom-2025 international exhibition in Yekaterinburg. Investment will amount to around 850 million rubles. The company plans to build the plant in the Novocherkassk Industrial Park.
To implement the project, the company plans to use a joint loan from regional and federal industrial development funds, Sorokin said.
The project will create more than 65 new jobs.
As reported, Neis-Engineering is currently implementing a 700 million ruble investment project at the Novocherkassk Industrial Park to build a production facility for truck components. The new enterprise's production capacity will be around 120,000 eco-filters, 150,000 plastic components and 100,000 fittings for trailed equipment per year. The plant is scheduled for commissioning in 2026.
Neis-Engineering LLC is part of Neis Group of Companies and produces oil, gasoline and intake air filters for internal combustion engines. According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, 90% of its charter capital belongs to Neis-Service LLC (Rostov region), which provides maintenance and repair services for motor vehicles. The remaining 10% is owned by Bogdan Khmelnitsky, who also owns a company engaged in engineering surveys, engineering design and construction project management, as well as providing technical consultations in these areas.
According to information on its website, Neis Group has been operating since 2011, providing services and products in the field of freight transport. The company has offices in Rostov-on-Don, Stavropol, Krasnodar and Novorossiysk.
