Putin to take part in BRICS summit by video link on Sun - Peskov

MOSCOW. July 4 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin will take part in the BRICS summit hosted by Rio de Janeiro by video link on Sunday.

"The BRICS summit will take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on July 6 and 7, and the president will attend the main plenary session of the summit by video link on Sunday," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the press.

Putin will have another event on Sunday, which Peskov promised to announce later.
