Russia intends to participate in Expo Belgrade - Russian govt

MOSCOW. July 2 (Interfax) - Russia intends to participate in Expo 2027, which will be held in Belgrade from May 15, 2027 to August 15, 2027.

"Participation by the Russian Federation in the international specialized exhibit Expo 2027, which will be held in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia, from May 15, 2027 to August 15, 2027, shall be recognized as reasonable," the Russian government said in its resolution published on the official legal information website.

The document appoints Anton Alikhanov to the post of chairman of the organizing committee for preparing the Russian exposition and for ensuring participation. The Russian Industry and Trade Ministry is to submit proposals on the composition of the organizing committee to the government within two months.
