Fuel market surplus in Russia to cover economy's needs - Energy Ministry

MOSCOW. July 1 (Interfax) - The fuel market in Russia remains stable, with a surplus now formed to meet the economy's entire needs including key sectors like agriculture, the Energy Ministry said.

"It is also important to mention that agricultural producers who have entered into long-term contracts to buy fuel at fixed prices are totally protected from market fluctuations. Their risks are ruled out, and deliveries will be carried out in full in accordance with the agreements," the ministry said in a commentary for journalists.
