Ukraine says received 9th tranche of $500 million from IMF
MOSCOW. July 1 (Interfax) - Ukraine has received the ninth tranche of $500 million from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to cover the priority budget needs, Ukrainian media outlets reported, citing Prime Minister Denis Shmygal.
"This follows the eighth review of the EFF cooperation program. Total disbursements under the program now amount to $10.6 billion," media outlets quoted him as saying on social networks.
Shmygal thanked the IMF for its consistent and systemic support helping Ukraine remain resilient.
