Soyuz-2.1b LV with Progress MS-31 resupply ship installed on Baikonur launch pad - Roscosmos
MOSCOW. July 1 (Interfax) - The Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle carrying the Progress MS-31 resupply ship has been installed on the launch pad at the Baikonur Cosmodrome, where pre-launch preparations are ongoing, the Roscosmos state space corporation said on Tuesday.
The launch of the Progress MS-31 bound for the International Space Station (ISS) is scheduled for 10:32 p.m. Moscow time on July 3.
The resupply ship will deliver 2,625 kilograms of cargo to the ISS, including 1,205 kilograms of dry cargo for Expedition 73, 950 kilograms of fuel to refill the station, 420 kilograms of drinking water for the cosmonauts, and 50 kilograms of nitrogen to replenish the station's atmosphere. The Progress MS-31 will also bring equipment for the Virtual, Biodegradation, Fullerene, Biopolymer, Impulse and Mirage experiments to the ISS.
