Russian-Ukrainian, Iranian-Israeli conflicts incomparable - Kremlin
MOSCOW. June 26 (Interfax) - The Russian-Ukrainian and the Iranian-Israeli conflicts cannot be compared, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"From our standpoint, these conflicts are incomparable in their essence and nature," Peskov told journalists on Thursday.
"The start of the conflict, Israel's strikes upon Iran, was absolutely unprovoked," Peskov said.
"As concerns the special military operation, the precursor to this is well known in the world," he said.
"It's hardly appropriate to draw parallels here," Peskov said.
