Term of AFK Sistema president Sitdekov extended for three years

ST. PETERSBURG. June 26 (Interfax) - The board of directors of PJSC AFK Sistema voted on Wednesday to extend the term of the Russian holding company's president Tagir Sitdekov for another three years, Sistema told Interfax.

Sitdekov was appointed to head AFK Sistema for a three-year term on July 12, 2022, prior to which he served as the corporation's managing partner from May 2021. Sistema said his term has now been extended for another three years, meaning to July 12, 2028.

AFK Sistema founder Vladimir Yevtushenkov told Interfax last week that Sitdekov's term would be extended.

Yevtushenkov owns 49.2% of AFK Sistema, and his son and senior managing partner Felix Yevtushenkov holds 15.3%. The free float is 32.6% and 2.9% of stock is distributed among Sistema Group companies, board members and management.
