Inter RAO expects 2% generating growth in Russia in H1, about 1%-2% growth for year

ST. PETERSBURG. June 24 (Interfax) - Inter RAO expects 2% generating growth in Russia in H1 2025 and about 1%-2% growth for the year, CEO Sergei Dregval told reporters on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

"Anticipated output by the Russian assets is 65 billion kWh for H1 2025, which is 2% higher than in the same period last year," he said.

At foreign assets, everything is "more or less even, [there is] a drop in output at the Moldavskaya GRES plant, associated with a reduction in exports," he said.

The company expects "comparable results, approximately 1%-2% growth" at Russian plants for the year. "But this will depend on the influence of various factors," Dregval said.
