Russia ready to search for political solution to Ukraine situation - Security Council deputy secretary

BEIJING. June 24 (Interfax) - Russia deems the behavior of the Ukrainian authorities to be provocative, Russian Security Council Deputy Secretary Alexander Venediktov said.

"We are ready to search for a political solution, which we have repeatedly demonstrated by deeds, despite the obvious provocative behavior of Kiev," Venediktov said at a meeting of Security Council secretaries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states on Tuesday.
